Who’s Playing on the Pier Stage?
TJay and the Tall Boys
Singer/songwriter/guitarist TJay has been playing solo shows across the northeast, traveling with a loop pedal and acoustic guitar. Along the way, meeting some of the best (and tallest) musicians in the Hudson Valley, TJay and the Tallboys was formed. Incorporating Rock/Pop with Jazz and Blues, they draw on influences such as Steely Dan, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, and more. Together they have been working their way quickly up the ranks, sharing the stage with well established artists such as The Doobie Brothers, Blues Traveler, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Rusted Root, Little Feat, The Neville Brothers, Dave Mason (of Traffic), Leon Russell, Chris Trapper (of the Push Stars), and more. Speaking to a multitude of musical tastes, the upbeat show will keep your feet tapping and your senses engaged.
Ripping out of Connecticut, Joon has made a name for themselves, creating a unique sound that blends a mix of rock and funk with soulful songwriting. Joon has built a reputation of being a vocal powerhouse, delivering high energy in every performance with a sound similar to that of Hall & Oates, Dave Matthews Band, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
They have shared the stage with acts such as Ripe, the Hip Abduction, Zach Deputy, Aqueous and held featured slots at major festivals including High Hopes Music & Arts Festival in 2018. With a passion for combining songwriting with funky melodies and powerful rock grooves, Joon thrives on evolving their sound and will continue to bring the house down.
